How It Works - Wireless Access
WebEx PCNow turns your mobile phone into a remote control for your PC or Mac. With WebEx PCNow Mobile Access, information on your computer is optimized for your cell phone or mobile device, including iPhone. - Using your normal wireless service access is made possible with no software installed on your phone.
- The WebEx PCNow remote access agent captures changes made on your remote computer, updates and stores it within the Mobile portion of your PCNow account, and makes it immediately available on your mobile phone the next time you ask for it.
- Your account will also allow you to share information from your remote computer using your wireless device.
1. Install
After signing up you'll be walked through the set up process. The PCNow Mobile Access agent will need to be installed on each of the computers you want to access.
2. Manage
Using the PCNow Mobile Access tab you can manage which folders you want to share and be able to see on your mobile device.
3. Access
From your mobile phone login to
pcnow.webex.com. We can even send you an SMS message with the link to make it easier. There you'll see your remote computers and folders.
You can access files, photos, and documents in these folders and subfolders, search for files using Google, Yahoo, X1, or MSN desktop search, and even access your Outlook mail, contacts and calendar.
